Noble Outfitters Girls' Durable Canvas Riding Jacket - Perfect for Equestrian, Outdoor & Casual Wear

I LOVE this jacket. I was looking for a jacket to wear working with horses and this is perfect. It even has a two way zipper to make riding more comfortable. There are snaps on the lower back to provide extra movement as well. The jacket and sleeve length are perfect. I always have trouble finding sleeves that are long enough or that don't ride up my arms when I move but these are great. They are plenty long enough and there are hidden gussets on the back/shoulders to keep movement comfortable and a soft, hidden band on the wrist to keep you warm and comfortable. I'd compare its weight to slightly more than a shell, perfect for spring, fall and milder winter, but I have no problem layering something under it to make it a full winter jacket. My only beef with the jacket is the goofy waist cinch on the back. I don't like the look of a cinched jacket but if you don't tighten the strap it looks normal and I don't mind it. I had bought a Carhartt jacket but ended up returning it after trying this on. This seems just as durable, way more comfortable, much better sleeve length, versatile, has the two way zipper and a much nicer, more flattering, feminine fit. I bought it forbarn work but I love it so much I'd wear it anywhere. I am normally between a small and medium and the medium fits perfectly with some extra room for layering without looking or feeling bulky.Overall this is a nice jacket. I'm 5'9 140 lbs and got a medium. The sleeves are actually long enough and they have this wonderful wrist liner that keeps some cold air from coming up the sleeves. It fits loose enough to put a sweater under. The neck and hood material is as soft as brand new baby bunny fur! But there's just a couple reasons I couldn't give it 5 stars. The picture of the olive color is extremely misleading. There is no olive about it. This jacket is green! Google search for a more accurate representation of the olive color because amazon is way off. Also it's very boxy shaped. The draw strings can cinch the waist but to get it actually fitted it has to be so tight it gives it a tutu appearance. And my biggest complaint is this is not meant for cold weather. I expected with its decent weight it would be suitable for a crisp fall day but without multiple layers underneath I was freezing! Works as a barn jacket and doing chores. Has lots of pockets and as long as i'm layered up it's nice to ride in. I keep it for those warmer days when I don't want to wear my bulky carhartt.Absolutely Love This Jacket!-Love the extra long sleeves! I really dislike how other jackets bare your arms when reaching for things then you have to pull them down. Longer sleeves are great for riding-Very Flattering Shape using the waist cinch-Very Well Constructed using quality materials and attention to details-Like how it can be zipped high up on the neck, eliminating a scarf or gator-Gussets in the back are nice, as well as the zipper opening from bottom too for seated comfort. Snaps on bottom in back for additional comfort-Allows room for layering-Jacket would be perfect if it had a quilted zip in/out liner for very cold weather- love the zipper pocket on the sleeve, perfect for a phone (not plus size), or a small wallet- also appreciate the inside pocket!
